ZERA is a Hebrew word which means “SEED” and seed signifies HOPE. Our responsibility is to plant the seed (the gospel) in the hearts of men and women and pray to the Lord to water it and cause it to bear fruits (converts), fruits that will lasts (converts becoming disciple makers) (1 Cor 3:6; John 15:16; Isaiah 27).

We are thrilled to welcome our passionate and spirit-filled team from the United States as they join us on the mission fields of the Northern and Upper West Regions of Ghana this July!
This dedicated team is here to bring the tangible love of Christ through holistic and impactful ministry. This month, they will be serving our communities through:
FREE Medical Screenings – Demonstrating the compassion of Christ by addressing urgent physical needs
Borehole Commissioning – Providing access to clean, life-saving water in underserved areas
Children’s Ministry – Sowing seeds of faith and joy into the hearts of the next generation
Sewing Reusable Sanitary Pads – Equipping girls and women with skills that restore dignity and empower their future
We give all glory to God for this opportunity to be His hands and feet in these communities. May lives be healed, hope be restored, and Jesus be glorified in every village visited.

Across the Northern, Bono, and Upper West Regions, Zera Missions Africa continues to be the hands and feet of Jesus, reaching the unreached, healing the hurting, and restoring hope to the forgotten.
This is more than a mission — it’s a movement of mercy.

JESUS THE LIVING WATER – A MESSAGE OF HOPE
Jesus said, “Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life” (John 4:14, NIV). Just as clean water is essential for physical life, Jesus is essential for our spiritual life. He satisfies the deepest thirst of the human soul.
When we help drill water wells in deprived communities, we are not only meeting a critical physical need—we are demonstrating the love and compassion of Christ. These boreholes drastically reduce the spread of waterborne diseases and give children the chance to stay in school, rather than spending hours searching for polluted water.
As we quench physical thirst through these wells, we also pray that hearts will be opened to receive Jesus, the true Living Water who alone brings eternal life and lasting hope.
