Leadership That Leads by Example
At the heart of Zera Missions Africa is a leadership rooted in prayer, servanthood, and the burning passion to reach the unreached. The vision is great, the mission is urgent, and by the grace of God, the leadership is strong.
Rev. John Issahaku – Director, Zera Missions Africa
A seasoned missionary and a man with an apostolic burden, Rev. John Issahaku leads Zera Missions Africa with unwavering dedication and Spirit-led conviction. His life is a testimony of obedience to the Great Commission, and under his leadership, the mission continues to break new ground in the most remote corners of Ghana and beyond.
He is not only a visionary but also a field general—present on the ground, mentoring young missionaries, planting churches, and establishing discipleship centers. His passion is to see every tribe, every village, and every soul encounter Jesus Christ.
Team Leadership Across the Harvest Fields
Zera Missions Africa is not built on one man—but on a network of empowered, Spirit-filled leaders in every mission location. Each of the 12 active locations—Zanzugu Yapala, Foshegu, Gbulukpalsi, Dompofie, Sanwa, Makala, Gbao, Bongasi, Tumu, Gwollu, Funsi, and Ullo—has its own Team Leader.
These local leaders are the watchmen of the fields—mobilizing outreach, discipling new converts, overseeing church plants, and responding to the spiritual and physical needs of their communities. They serve as the hands and feet of the mission, backed by the prayer and direction of the central leadership.
Together, they form a unified front, fueled by one vision:
“To take the Gospel to the places it has not yet reached, and establish lasting transformation through the power of Christ.”
This is leadership that doesn't sit behind desks—it walks the dusty roads, holds broken hearts, and declares the kingdom of God where it has never been heard.
